G Movie

G MovieFrench Filmmaker Louis Leterrier is set to direct G, a big-budget science-fiction movie, for Universal Pictures. The project is based on an original idea Guymon Casady. There's no script yet though: they're still looking for screenwriters. The plot is kept under wrap but the movie G is is touted a sci-fi disaster film that would be a mix of "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Taken".

Thanks to the online rumor we learn a bit more: G is the new title of a project previously known as Gravity, the story of the film would involve as father desperate to find his lost child as the world stops spinning and Earth begins to lose its gravity.

If this is the real premise of the movie G, it would kind of sound like a rip-off of Roland Emmerich's 2012. But I wouldn't really mind because I love those big event action movies. So you can already sign me up for G, I'm sold!

No production date has been set, and no release date has been announced yet.

Anyway more information about the movie G as soon as details emerge.
